Some common questions often asked. . . .

How much is the Adoption Fee?

• Our adoption fees vary according to vetting costs.  We try our best to find the most reasonable, and reliable vetting possible.  However, vetting costs are on the rise.  We also take into consideration breed and age, as well as staying competitive with other rescues.   
• Cat Adoption Fees begin at $75.00. 
• Dogs range from $100.00-$375.00. 
• Our rescue does have senior discounts.
  
• All fees are subject to change

• Our dogs are given DHLPP, Rabies, Microchips, Spay/Neuter, Fecal exams, Heartworm Testing and treaments and Flea and Tick Prevention.
• Our puppies are given age appropriate vaccinations, Fecal Exams, Microchipping, Spay/Neuter if age appropriate, Heartworm prevention if age appropriate, and Flea and Tick prevention. 
• Cats and Kittens are FIV and Feline Luekemia tested, given age appropriate vaccinations, Rabies, Fecal Exams, Spay/Neuter if age appropriate and Flea and Tick Prevention & microchips
• All other illnesses are treated by a vet prior to adoption, however, some animals maybe sent home with treatments.  These can range from stitch removal for animals recently spayed, to antibiotics or deworming medication.

Do you adopt to families who leave dogs mostly outside?

• We do not due to the fact that we feel your dog should be an important part of your family.  We insist that our adopters keep their dogs with the family.  

What if the adoption doesn't work out?

• ROSA'S wants the best home for our dogs and cats.  We can work with you to find the right animal for you home.  If it doesn't work out you are required to return the animal.

Is the Adoption Fee refundable?

• In most cases our adoption fees are not refundable.  We are a small rescue and our funds are absorbed in to caring for our animals.  However, in some cases, allowances can be made minus a processing fee.
